The story of our practice begins in 1953, when Newton A. Thomas established his law practice, serving clients with integrity and professionalism until his retirement in 1989. His commitment to the region laid a strong foundation that continues to guide us today, making our firm the successor to his esteemed practice.
In 1991, John A. Harder purchased the practice, building on that legacy by expanding services and maintaining the firm's reputation as a trusted community resource.
In 2009, Tim Lowes (William T. Lowes) purchased the practice from John A. Harder, becoming the proud successor and continuing the unbroken chain of dedicated service. John stayed with the firm as Counsel until his retirement in 2015.
